I find beauty in odd places. Chemical plants, factories, railroads, bridges and various forms of industrial structures have always fascinated me. In this project I have juxtaposed these man-made monuments to industry with the natural beauty of clouds, sky and water.
People often consider deserts to be lifeless expanses of sand and loneliness. Contrary to that belief the Mojave desert is rich with plant and animal life. I spend a good deal of my time in the desert every year photographing plants and animals in their natural arid habitats.
